a) What Grade level does the school go up to?
The school is currently a K-6 school, with Grade 7 being added. We will be adding grades on a yearly basis up to the A Levels.
b) Is the school co-ed?
Yes the school is co-ed as per Ministry regulations.
c) Where does the teaching staff come from?
We hire our staff based on their ability to create engaging learning environments for our children. We maintain a culturally diverse teaching body so that our children benefit from a cross-cultural teaching experience.
d) Will you have teaching assistants?
Yes we have teaching assistants for the Foundation Years.
e) How large are the school grounds?
Our campus ground covers 7 acres which comfortably accommodates all the required facilities.
f) How many children are there in each class?
Class sizes vary, however, there are no more than 23 children in each class.
g) What is the process of communication between parents and teachers?
There are many forms of communication between teachers and parents. We developed a community that is inclusive of parents and in doing so we have built a strong support structure for the children. Some of the channels of communication are:
- Student Diaries
- Newsletters
- School Website
On certain days of the week, we have an open door policy for parents who want to drop in and speak to the Principal. There is also a PTA.
h) Is there a test for admission?
There isn’t a test for admission. We conduct an assessment for Grades 1 and above to determine the child’s appropriate level of instruction.
i) Do you offer Islamic Studies?
As according to Ministry regulations, Islamic Studies are offered for those children who wish to take it.
